Welcome to the Middletown Church of the Nazarene. Thank you for taking the time to visit us online. Please feel free to browse around and see what is going on here at the Middletown Church of the Nazarene. If you would like to join us for Sunday morning worship, we have Sunday School at 9:00 AM, Prayer and Hospitality at 10:00 AM and Morning Worship at 10:15 AM.

As we gather together, we encourage you to REACH UP to God in worship and prayer. As we fellowship together, we encourage you to REACH IN to grow alongside the body of Christ. While you experience the love of God and receive love from others, we encourage you to REACH OUT to a lost world with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Camp Scholarships Needed!

Did you know that we have over 40 children and teens attending church camp this summer? This is by far a record for our church. Many of these kids are from families who are unable to pay some or all of the camp fees, so we are still looking for sponsors who will help by paying the way for a child to go to camp. Camp can have a great impact on a child's relationship with the Lord. Children's camps are $160 each and teens are $175.

Faith Promis for World Missions

Our church has set a goal of $30,000 to be promised in faith to be given for world missions from June 1, 2017 - May 31, 2018. In the past three weeks, our congregation has committed $19,596 towards this goal. Will you help us more effectively minister both across the street and around the world? Commitment cards are available at the back of the sanctuary.

Compassionate Ministries - "Helping Without Hurting" Training

We are asking everyone who plans to partivipate in our various Compassionate Ministry initiatives to participate in a training class on "Helping Without Hurting." Anyone who has already volunteered, thinks they may want to become involved in one of these opportunities to serve, or would just like to know more about how to effectively help those in need are encouraged to attend. These classes consist of three powerful sessions that teach principles of Christ-like love that actually helps people rather than hurts them.

The Next training opporunity will be Wednesdays at 6:30 PM on July 5, 12 and 19.

Free Friday Lunches

Vision 100—Generosity Going Viral!

For the next 100 days (March 5—June 18), we ask you to prayerfully considering participating in viral generosity. Our vision for viral generosity:

  • To discover the blessing that comes from being generous to God's work above our current level of giving.
  • To experience a miracle of abundance when God’s people are unified in giving together for a common purpose for something bigger than themselves.
  • To liberate our church from financial bondage so we can aggressively and creatively fulfill our mission.

We believe in "Praying First" and we believe God loves to hear the prayers of His people!!
